Welcome to Hearth & Harvest

From garden to table, every bite tells a story.

At Hearth & Harvest, we’re reclaiming the joy of real ingredients, time-honored flavors, and the kind of cooking that feeds more than hunger—it feeds connection.

Welcome—I’m so glad you’re here.

I didn’t grow up with a recipe box full of heirloom secrets or generations of gardening wisdom. What I had was a desire to nourish my family with real ingredients, honest work, and meals that felt as good as they tasted.

So, I began—with dirt under my nails, a kitchen full of questions, and a determination to learn.

Hearth & Harvest grew from that journey. I started replacing not just the ingredients in my pantry, but the rhythms of my days. I learned to grow what I could, even if it was just a handful of herbs or the first salve that actually worked.

(Like the time I got eaten alive by mosquitoes and ended up crafting a bug bite balm out of sheer necessity. Note to self: plant a lot more of whatever repels those little beasts.)

Each small step became a way to reclaim care, comfort, and connection—both in the kitchen and beyond.

This isn’t just a recipe blog. It’s a space for intentional living, seasonal creativity, and feeding the people we love with purpose.

Here, you’ll find:

  • Wholesome recipes made from real, recognizable ingredients
  • Seasonal reflections and garden-grown inspiration
  • Simple crafts and kitchen wisdom rooted in function, tradition, and love

I believe feeding people is an act of love—and I’m honored to share this space with you.

With flour-dusted hands and a hopeful heart,
Jess

At Hearth & Harvest, I grow what I can, bake what I love, and share it with care. From garden-inspired recipes and fresh-baked breads to small-batch jams and cookies, everything is rooted in real ingredients and made with intention.

While I’m not currently selling baked goods or preserves, I hope to offer them to my local community in the near future—one small batch at a time.
